PT. Adhya Tirta Batam (ATB) is the main supplier for drinking water to some 800,000 people in Batam, Indonesia. UTMSPACE conducted an in-house training at ATB on ‘Leakage and NRW Water’ on 17-18 March 2009. There were 30 ATB staff attending the training which was facilitated by Associate Professor Ir Fatimah Mohd Noor of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM.

UTMSPACE has success has successfully conducted a short course on Quality Assurance at the Comfort Hotel, Tanjong Pinang on 10 January 2009. Professor Dr. Shahrin Muhamad of Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM was one of the facilitator. There were 27 participants mainly from Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji, Polytechnic and high school around Tanjong Pinang.
